Don’t be afraid to mention family, and recreational activities that relate to the culture of where you are. In Arizona, hiking, biking or swimming. You might mention the symphony or concerts if you live in an area where this is popular. Your statement should not be a tell-all, just enough to show the interviewer that you are stable, well-rounded, and have your priorities in order. “I usually just hang out at the bars” shows lack of ambition or meaningful social life. This is your chance to paint yourself in the best light possible.
